A Present from the Past

Mokhtar, a filmmaking professor, receives an unexpected gift on his 75th birthday from his daughter Kawthar, a filmmaker in her early twenties. With two plane tickets to Rome, he has a second chance to search for his unfulfilled love, whom he abandoned 33 years ago. Filmed with hidden cameras and family home videos, Kawthar freely captures the real essence of this father/daughter relationship.
